Less than 30 minutes from Parramatta, and close to the M2, this home consists of 144 beds, with a variety of care units. About The Role:
As a Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. This is a permanent full-time position. Sponsorship is not available at this stage; only candidates with full working rights are encouraged to apply.

Duties
Provide repairs and maintenance support to the care home across a wide scope of activities including:
* Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in‐line with the Maintenance Schedules
* Ensure the physical environment for residents is in line with their preferences and is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free
* Landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal
* Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if, and as required
* Assist in the management of Property Services projects
* Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures
Skills and Experience
* Formal qualifications; and/or Relevant skills training or experience
* Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
* The ability to solve problems independently
