The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and organised Bookkeeper to join our accounts team, working with senior management, specifically our CFO, to support the business activities as we drive the company's continued expansion.
The role will require a professional approach with the initiative and attention to detail to independently provide results.
The successful applicant will have the following key responsibilities, playing a crucial role in managing the business's finances, whilst ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping using Xero.
* Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
* Assisting with preparing payroll, payroll tax and workers compensation returns.
* Working closely with external accountant to manage taxation and financial planning.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in bookkeeping related roles (minimum 2 years).
* Hold a Certificate in Accounting and Bookkeeping or a Diploma of Accounting or higher.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
* Strong Xero and Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of payroll and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* An assertive disposition with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Willingness to take ownership of the role.
