**About the role**
This is a casual position as a landscaping labourer.
You will work for Insta Scapes Planting, providing labour to our clients.
You will be earning an hourly rate of $32 per hour plus benefits, such as travel allowance, and free weekly workplace yoga classes.
We are proud to provide our workers with above-award wages and commission rates, as well as ongoing training, mentorship and support. We want you to succeed and grow with the company!
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General labouring tasks such as; lifting, digging, moving of materials, set up and cleaning of sites
- Installation of turf and jute-mat (training provided)
- The use of power tools in a range of circumstances (this is a skill that can be taught to you, as required)
**Role requirements**
Equipment required for this role that you must have:
- White Card
- Drivers licence (provisional or unrestricted)
- Own your own vehicle (or be willing to buy one)
- PPE (steel cap boots, long pants, wide brim hat, non-branded long sleeve high vis top)
- You will be provided with hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
To be suitable for this role you must be:
- Ready to grow
- Able to communicate with client site foreman, understand the tasks that need to be completed, carry them out with instructions given.
- Able to plan the days tasks in order to be as effective as possible.
- Able to work independently, and as a part of a team.
- Problem solver, not a problem maker. Take initiative and figure it out and get the job done.
- Not be afraid to get dirty, its landscaping labour, you will get dirty, embrace it.
- Willing and able to work in unfavourable weather conditions.
- **Willing to start early, the working day begins at 7:00am and you may need to drive up to 1-2hrs (driving time paid) to get to site**
- Enthusiasm about developing knowledge and an understanding for construction landscaping.
