About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated After Hours Clinical Nurse Educator to join the team at Campbelltown Hospital. This role supports the professional development of nursing staff during evening, night, and weekend shifts, ensuring consistent clinical education across all hours. You will collaborate with after-hours leadership teams to identify learning needs, deliver targeted training, and promote safe, high-quality patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence practice and build capability in a supportive and evolving environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes.

* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
* Demonstrated understanding of competency-based assessment with experience in education / clinical teaching and developing clinical programs based on adult learning principles.
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
* Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
* Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
* Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
