Permanent Full-Time Legal Secretary Opportunity - Commercial Law and Litigation Firm in West Perth

Hays are currently working with a well-established and growing law firm in West Perth, who are looking for their next Legal Secretary to join the team.
This is a full-time, in-office role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment. This role is paying up to $85K + Superannuation depending on experience.
Your new role
As the Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's lawyers and office operations. You will be responsible for a range of administrative and legal support duties, ensuring the firm's processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Managing file systems, including opening new files and electronic filing.
* Assisting with billing processes and archiving documentation.
* Preparing and formatting legal correspondence and engagement letters.
* Handling court document preparation, maintaining briefs, and online lodgements.
* Managing the office calendar and coordinating client meetings.
* Supporting business development initiatives, including events coordination.
* Assisting the litigation team with administrative tasks.
* General administrative support as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate prior experience as a Legal Secretary. You will also have the following skills and qualities:
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office and experience with FilePro and Canva would be advantageous.
* Ability to manage competing deadlines in a professional and friendly work environment.
