Bethany Christian Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider established in 1949 with three campuses on Brisbane's southside: The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains, Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West, and a third facility referenced in planning for a fourth campus.

About the role
Position: Personal Care Assistant - Afternoon/Night shift
As a Personal Carer, you will provide a high standard of care and support to maximise residents' well-being. You will adhere to Health and Safety procedures, communicate clearly (written and verbal), and work in a team environment. Night shift availability is required.
Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents
* Adhere to health and safety procedures and policies
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to meet care goals

What we're looking for
* Must be available to work Night Shifts
* Supportive of and able to work within our Christian values
* Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or have valid work rights
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred; Nursing students who have completed at least one clinical placement may be considered
* Valid Police Check
* Willingness to contribute to the facility's atmosphere of care and Christian ethos
