Child and Family Health Nurse Role
This role involves providing comprehensive health assessments, early intervention strategies, education, and emotional support to families with children aged two weeks to five years.
* Provide proactive health promotion, parenting guidance, and developmental surveillance for children.
* Foster meaningful relationships with families and empower them through education and advocacy.
* Contribute to group programs such as New Parents groups and community engagement initiatives.
* Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
About the Ideal Candidate:
* You'll thrive in this role if you're adaptable, able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and commitment to equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
* Hold registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife and have a Child and Family Health qualification.
* Have a current driver's licence and the ability to travel within the district.
