The Role
A well-established Australian organisation is seeking a Head of IAM to lead and shape their identity and access management function.
This is a senior, strategic role with the opportunity to influence the direction of IAM, grow a high-performing team, and drive key initiatives across the business. You will act as the subject matter authority for IAM/PAM and play a critical role in shaping the organisation's cyber security posture.
What You'll Do
* Lead, develop, and grow a talented IAM/PAM team, including internal staff and managed service partners.
* Define and implement strategy for identity and access management, setting priorities that align with broader business objectives.
* Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across IT, cyber, risk, and business functions to ensure alignment and delivery of initiatives.
* Oversee key IAM and PAM projects, guiding decision-making and providing expert advice on best practices and modern identity management approaches.
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of access management while driving continuous improvement and capability uplift.
Who You Are
* Extensive IAM and PAM expertise, ideally with hands‐on experience in Okta, CyberArk, or Entra ID.
* Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Confident and autonomous, capable of operating at a senior leadership level and influencing across the organisation.
* Experienced in regulated or complex environments such as banking, financial services, or consulting.
Location & Package
* Sydney-based, 4 days per week in the office.
