Trade Events, Famils & Projects Executive

About the role:
The role involves delivering trade events, famils, and specific trade marketing projects in collaboration with the Manager, Trade Events, Famils & Projects, and the Global Markets & Trade team. The goal is to promote South Australia and generate demand for the state.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining effective relationships with relevant staff at the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), both locally and nationally.
* Coordinating the delivery of trade shows in Australia (e.g., Australian Tourism Exchange – ATE) and overseas, including SATC participation and relevant SA operator involvement.
* Assisting in the bidding process for major trade shows alongside the Manager, Trade Events, Famils & Projects.
* Designing familiarisation programs with the Global Markets & Trade team for relevant trade events.
* Hosting familiarisations for travel trade partners as needed.
* Maintaining SATC’s Trade website, including content updates, operator recruitment, and trade event information, and supporting site marketing efforts.
* Maintaining strong relationships with South Australian operators to ensure high attendance at trade events.
This full-time, 5-year, non-executive contract role is classified at ASO5 salary level.
