Join one of Australia's premier top-tier law firms, consistently recognised for advising on many of the largest and most complex corporate transactions in the market.

With a nationally integrated team, exceptional energy & resources pedigree, and a reputation for technical excellence, this firm offers the opportunity to work alongside some of the country's leading corporate lawyers.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high‐calibre Senior Associate to join a market-leading Corporate M&A and Capital Markets team in Brisbane. This role will see you advising major Australian and international clients across sophisticated domestic and cross‐border transactions, particularly within the energy, resources and critical minerals sectors. Clients the team has advised include major Australian and international corporates such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Santos, Glencore and Exxon Mobil across some of the most significant transactions and infrastructure arrangements in the market.

The work includes
* Complex public and private M&A transactions across the mining, oil & gas, and energy sectors
* Joint ventures, farm‐ins, asset acquisitions and strategic investment arrangements
* Advising on major energy and resources transactions, including critical minerals and infrastructure projects
* Rail, port, pipeline and broader infrastructure access arrangements and regulatory frameworks
* Large‐scale project development and operational arrangements across Australia and Oceania
* Cross‐border transactions involving multinational corporates, investment funds and global energy players
* Strategic advisory work relating to competition, access and economic regulation regimes

You'll gain exposure to sophisticated matters ranging from hundreds of millions through to multi‐billion‐dollar transactions, working closely with highly respected leaders in the market within a collaborative national team.

The opportunity would suit a lawyer with:
* Approximately 4+ years' PAE in Corporate / M&A
* Experience gained within a leading top‐tier, national or international firm
* Exposure to energy & resources transactions or a strong interest in developing within this space
* Strong technical drafting and transactional management skills
* A commercial mindset and genuine interest in building long‐term client relationships
Why Consider This Role?

This firm is widely regarded for both the calibre of its work and the quality of its culture. Benefits include:

* Market‐leading remuneration and bonus structure
* Hybrid and genuinely flexible working arrangements to work from home 2 days per week
* 26 weeks' paid parental leave with no minimum service requirement
* International secondment opportunities through a leading global alliance
* Exceptional learning, mentoring and career development programs
* Fully subsidised gym memberships, catered meals, wellness initiatives and additional leave options

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most highly regarded corporate teams in the country and work on career‐defining transactions in a supportive, high‐performing environment.

Only short‐listed candidates will be contacted.
