About the role
Reporting to the VIC/SA/TAS State Sales Manager, we are looking for a proven Key Account Manager focused on delivering outstanding customer experience and driving sales strategies across our SA sales team.
Responsibilities
* Manage a strategic portfolio of key accounts, maximizing sales through effective account strategy.
* Develop new business opportunities in line with company sales and marketing objectives.
* Implement tactical plans to achieve sales, marketing and product objectives in key account market segments.
* Produce weekly and monthly sales reports and provide detailed monthly forecasts.
* Track key account customer activity and maintain an accurate database.
* Address product complaints promptly, investigate, propose solutions and implement outcomes.
* Provide market intelligence on key account needs, competitor activity, market trends and new products.
* Maintain a professional image of RWC with customers and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements (Trade Practices) and ethical standards.
* Participate in market surveys, trade presentations, trade shows and conferences.
* Ensure property (including motor vehicles, mobile telephones, laptops) is maintained in optimum working order and secured from damage or theft.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of field sales experience.
* High level of personal integrity and ethics.
* Excellent team player with strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Plumbing industry experience preferred.
* Quick, adaptable learner capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
* Computer literate, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Certificate level or higher education in sales, marketing or a related discipline.
