About The Role

We're seeking an exceptional, results‐driven leader to uphold the highest standards of resident care while fostering a positive, high‐performing environment for our staff. As Facility Manager on-site at Banksia Lodge, you will provide hands‐on leadership across care delivery, ensuring excellence in medication administration, documentation, and clinical standards. You'll lead with strong performance management practices, drive continuous improvement, and build constructive interpersonal relationships that support collaboration and staff engagement.

The successful incumbent will effectively manage budgets, optimise rosters and staffing, and ensure robust risk, governance, compliance, and complaints‐management processes. This role is ideal for a KPI‐driven, accountable leader committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for residents, staff, and the organisation and uphold the Aged Care Care Code of Conduct in all actions and decisions.

Key Selection Criteria

* Registered Nurse - holding a current registration certificate with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Solid leadership skills with experience leading and coaching large multi-disciplined teams of clinical and non-clinical staff of health services and/or aged care facilities
* Solid financial and business acumen
* Experience performance managing and mentoring staff
* Demonstrated experience managing risk, governance and compliance
* An understanding of the current issues facing the aged care industry and the role and function of the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission
* Demonstrable evidence of successful data analysis in relation to Quality Indicators
* High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and EQ
* Demonstrable evidence of pro‐active problem‐solving, resilience and flexibility
* Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
* A NDIS check is compulsory for this role

It is desirable that the candidate has a strong understanding of the Aged Care legislation, Aged Care Standards and the NDIS Practice Standards and their application with a focus on open disclosure.
