About the Role
As an Archivist in our Group Property team, you'll play a key role in helping to maintain ANZ's archival and museum collections through care of physical records and objects, accurate database entry/use and capture of new information for ANZ history.Join us as we re-imagine our customer propositions and services using the latest platforms and technology, to better support our customers' financial wellbeing.

**Role Type**: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment, Full-time
**Role Location**: 182 Forster Rd, Mount Waverley VIC 3149
What will your day look like?
**As an Archivist, you are accountable for**:
Appraisal of records for retention as archives.
Registration and cataloguing of new items into the archive database (Content Manager/Trim).
Arrangement and description of archival records in accordance with Australian Series System, and Group Archive procedures
Compliance with existing archive and ANZ policies, standards, and guidelines.
Prepare physical files, photographs etc. for scanning, including retrieval and re-filing of these.
Digitisation of physical files, photographs, etc. using scanning equipment, ensuring complete and accurate images of physical records are created.
Provide excellent customer service and quick response times for internal and external enquiries to meet SLA timelines set by legal, complaints team etc.
Creation and maintenance of metadata, finding aids and indexes where required.
Maintain and update documentation of ANZ chronology, and associated series.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Knowledge and experience with using and maintaining electronic records & document management systems, preferably Content Manager (Trim).
High level of proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Sound understanding of archiving standards and terminology
Competent with MS Suite, including excel
Manual handling and lifting are a requirement of this role
Detail oriented; experience in researching
Problem solving, planning & prioritisation skills; and demonstrated teamwork and collaboration
Knowledge and experience with AS/ISO 15489 (Information and documentation - Records management)
