Currently we are hunting for a Business Development Manager – Victoria and Tasmania – for our Packaging Division to be based in Spotswood, Melbourne.
The Role: Business Development Manager
We are looking to provide the right candidate a career in sales and to be part of the Sadleirs team. You will be technically trained on all the products we supply as well as given guidance on process and customer interaction.
The primary role of this position is to provide you a career in sales with Sadleirs. You will be responsible for managing sales within an existing sales territory and developing new business sales opportunities for the full range of our packaging products.
You will proactively create new opportunities and achieve sales targets. A strong focus will be on identifying, developing and managing relationships and business growth opportunities, while managing existing customers.
As part of the sales team, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our business development plan and providing input into strategic business growth and improvement decisions.
Key Duties will include
* Develop and grow relationships with current customers
* Cold calling to develop new opportunities
* Develop knowledge through training, on our range of products and services
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets
* Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer segments
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, fostering a diverse and inclusive customer base
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies
* Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to support business decision‐making
* Attend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars
* Actively participate as a member of the Sales Team to ensure Business Plans are achieved and communication is strong
