Our client is a long established family owned new car dealership located in Ipswich. They are seeking to employ either a Qualified Mechanic or Trades Assistant with mechanical knowledge. This role may suit candidates who have recently obtained their Cert 3 or Cert 4 qualifications and who are now on a graduate or Temporary Resident visa. The dealership offers security of tenure and career advancement opportunities. The role is Monday to Friday only.
Applicants for this position must be qualified, have unlimited working rights and be seeking a long term position. Alternatively unqualified candidates who enjoy working on cars and have some experience are also welcome to apply. You must be seeking a long term position and have your own set of tools.
Salary will depend entirely on previous experience. As a guide, for a qualified Mechanic or Technician, an hourly rate up to $45 per hour is on offer, + super + overtime. For a Trade Assistant or recent graduate, a satisfactory salary will be negotiated according to your experience.
