The role also covers nutrition services for Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospitals. The team consists of nineteen dietitians committed to high-quality, patient-centered nutrition care.The hospital is a quaternary referral and teaching hospital located in Randwick, Sydney. It features a new acute services building and excellent transport options.The RoleThe vision of SESLHD is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. The Dietitian will provide expert clinical nutrition services, participate in quality improvement, and supervise junior staff. Responsibilities include:Providing high-quality, person-centered nutrition care to spinal unit patients and other hospital services.Engaging in service review and development activities.Qualifications and SkillsQualifications per Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award.Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in Nutrition and Dietetics.Strong negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.Ability to provide expert advice and clinical supervision.Teamwork and independent judgment skills for complex situations.Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives.Commitment to ongoing professional development.Additional InformationFor more details, view the Position Description and SESLHD standards.
