We're seeking an experienced and hands‐on Solution Delivery Manager to lead the design and delivery of critical business platforms across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform, integrations, and data solutions. This senior, hands‐on leadership role blends solution architecture, delivery governance, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with business leaders and technical teams to translate strategy into well‐architected, high‐quality solutions that are delivered with discipline and clarity.
About the Role
As Solution Delivery Manager, you will own the end‐to‐end delivery lifecycle of technology initiatives. You'll provide architectural leadership, guide delivery teams, and ensure strong governance across scope, risk, quality, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‐to‐end delivery of enterprise solutions, from design through to implementation and transition to support.
* Plan, coordinate and support delivery across multiple streams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organisational objectives.
* Provide solution architecture leadership across Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform, integrations, and data platforms.
* Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating outcomes into robust solution designs.
* Establish and maintain strong delivery governance, including design assurance, risk management, and transparent reporting.
* Work hands‐on with delivery teams and vendors to guide implementation, resolve issues, and ensure quality outcomes.
* Foster a culture of iteration and continuous improvement, leveraging agile, DevOps and automation practices to accelerate delivery.
* Collaborate across teams to resolve blockers, manage dependencies and maintain delivery velocity.
* Coach and mentor team members to uplift technical capability and delivery excellence across digital platforms.
* Manage dependencies, risks, and trade‐offs in multi‐system environments.
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on solution options and delivery impacts.
* Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools and team performance.
Skills & Experience
* 10+ years' experience across the software development lifecycle in enterprise environments.
* 5+ years in hands‐on technical roles (development, engineering, or technical leadership).
* 2+ years in solution architecture roles.
* 2+ years in delivery leadership roles (Delivery Manager, Software Engineering Manager, or similar).
* Strong hands‐on experience with:
o Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
o Fit‐for‐purpose integrations and data platforms.
* Strong governance mindset, experience managing delivery risk, assurance, and quality.
* Ability to think and operate as a solution architect, balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery.
* Clear, confident communication skills, influencing senior stakeholders and vendors.
* Delivery‐focused, accountable approach with a bias for action.
