Role Overview:
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the purchasing process, offering expert advice on vehicle features, pricing, financing options, and after-sales services. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales growth while ensuring every customer has an outstanding buying experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer personalised recommendations based on their preferences and budget.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of all vehicle models, features, specifications, and pricing. Stay updated on industry trends, new arrivals, and promotions.
* Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits of vehicles. Provide test drives and guide customers through the decision-making process.
* Work with customers to negotiate pricing, financing, and trade-in options. Close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the finance team to present financing options and assist customers in completing paperwork related to vehicle purchases.
* Build long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring post-purchase satisfaction and encouraging repeat business and referrals.
* Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
* Provide excellent after-sales service by following up with customers regarding their purchase experience and addressing any concerns or issues.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and vehicle inventories. Assist with showroom displays and vehicle stock management.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience in a sales role, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
* A genuine interest in cars and a solid understanding of vehicle features, performance, and specifications.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively present products.
* Ability to negotiate prices and terms to achieve a win-win outcome for both the customer and the business.
* A strong focus on customer service and the ability to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
* Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Comfortable with using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools to track leads and manage customer data.
* A valid driver's license is required.
* Ability to collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
