Our Role
The Junior Software Engineer is responsible for building and configuring new development and testing environments set by the IT and Infrastructure teams. New environments will be required for all RegWorks customers. This role performs tasks under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Software Engineer. It reports to the Service Delivery Manager and does not have people management responsibilities.
A Day In Your Role
* Build and configure new development and testing environments on Windows infrastructure set up by the Infrastructure & IT Team.
* Migrate environment configuration and data into the new environments from current legacy infrastructure.
* Track and report progress.
Your Skills, Experience And Beyond
* Understanding of XML, SQL, Java.
* Good working knowledge of Tomcat.
* Familiarity with legacy infrastructure or ability to analyze and adapt legacy systems for compatibility with new environments.
* Experience with SQL Server, Git, IntelliJ, Maven is highly desired.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with the team.
