We are seeking a Surveillance Operator to join our team at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.
A rare and exciting opportunity for an individual with exceptional observational skills and attention to detail to join our Surveillance Team and play a crucial role in maintaining operational security.
Key Responsibilities
* CCTV observation of all aspects of the Casino/Hotel operations.
* Reporting all irregular and/or illegal activities.
* Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions.
* Respond to all duress situations promptly and ensure incident is monitored.
Criteria
* Casino / Table Gaming experience and/or Surveillance experience.
* Eye for detail and good interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability and the ability to maintain vigilance at all times.
* Good verbal communication and computer skills.
* Accurate reporting skill, factual and literate, general administration is neat, concise at all times.
* Excellent personal presentation and hygiene.
* Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
* Flexibility with shifts.
* Able to comply with Surveillance & company policies, work rules, and procedures.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to equipment, procedures and information.
All Surveillance employees are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Attainment Certificate.
License Requirement
Thisposition requires a Casino Employee Licence. If you are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia and over the age of 18 years, your application will not be considered for this role.
Appointment is contingent upon final license approval and individual security (probity) clearances from the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
