The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology, although this is not essential. We offer training in radiation oncology nursing to ensure our nurses have the skills needed to excel in this field.

Your responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met. You will also undertake direct patient care, including education, wound management, and medication administration as per Practice Protocol.

In addition to your clinical duties, you will facilitate effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physicists, and radiation therapists. You will also ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated, and actioned.

Requirements:

* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

* A minimum 2 years post-graduate experience (preferred).

* A background in oncology nursing (not essential), with training in radiation oncology nursing provided.

* Exemplary interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for all patients and their carers.

* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
">
* Commitment to the application of best practice principles and quality improvement, including the NSQHS.
">
* Commitment to continuing professional development.
">
* Experience in wound care management.
