Role In a Nutshell
We're on the lookout for a Casual Retail Assistant to join our Merimbulateam. You'll help create a fun, stylish, and honest in-store experience that keeps our customers coming back. This role is perfect for someone who loves fashion, people, and making someone's day better with genuine service.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating genuine, positive in-store experiences by understanding customer needs and being a true brand ambassador
Styling customers to ensure they look and feel fabulous while contributing to sales and KPIs
Participating in fun store events like morning teas and charity fundraisers
Assisting in day-to-day store operations: visual merchandising, cleaning, and administration
Maintaining an organized stockroom and using ladders to retrieve stock (you'll need to be comfortable with this)
About You
You're passionate about fashion and love helping people feel their best
You've worked in a customer-facing retail or sales environment
You're flexible with your schedule and can assist during peak trading periods
You're comfortable using Microsoft Office, POS systems, and EFTPOS
You can adapt your communication and selling style to meet the unique needs of each customer
