* Salary: $60,812 - $68,355 gross p.a. plus 11.5% Super plus allowances
* 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight, Monday to Friday

About The Role
This position is responsible for the operation of large mowing equipment, tractors, sports field turf mowers and heavy plant for Council's Open Space Precincts, including but not limited to Destination Parks, Aquatic Facilities, Sports Fields, Showgrounds, Cemeteries and Parks and Reserves. Based at Nowra Showground but servicing Precinct across the Shoalhaven. This includes:
* Operate various plant items (e.g., tractors, excavators, mowers, trucks) and sports turf cylinder mower on cricket fields seasonally
* Perform manual and landscaping tasks (e.g., tree pruning, fencing, irrigation installation)
* Maintain equipment and conduct basic repairs
* Contribute to upkeep of Council facilities and assets
* Use operational software for reporting and task tracking
* Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
* A minimum of two (2) years' experience in operating major plant such as sports turf or wide area mowers, backhoe, dozer / compactor, excavator, front end loader, tractor, grader or equivalent
* Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card)
* Class MR Licence
* A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
