About The Role We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician – Workshop to join our Truganina workshop team. This role focuses on the installation, servicing, diagnostics, and repair of electrical components across new, used, and rental material handling equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom equipment. You’ll work closely with workshop technicians and the Workshop Manager to ensure equipment is prepared, repaired, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to standard. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose and repair electrical faults on material handling equipment Install and service electrical components such as lighting, UHF radios and accessories Support workshop technicians with electrical diagnostics and repairs Complete pre-delivery preparation and equipment condition assessments Perform major repairs and overhauls in line with quoted and standard times Complete job documentation accurately using tablet technology Maintain workshop housekeeping and adhere to WHS policies at all times What’s On Offer Competitive pay aligned to your experience Ongoing technical and product training Supportive workshop manager and team environment Fully equipped workshop with modern tools and systems Stable, long-term role in a growing business About You Holds a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology Forklift licence (desirable, not essential) Current Australian driver’s licence 2 years’ hands-on auto electrical or mechanical experience Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Does this sound like you?
