Position
We're on the hunt for a seasoned and ambitious Account Director to join our Sales Department and play a critical role in growing both new and existing business. You'll take the lead on discovery sessions, proposals, RFQs, and tenders, while nurturing long-term client relationships through strategic account management. Working closely with your Sales Assistant, you'll own the sales process end to end, from pitching to onboarding and drive Punchy\'s growth across government, enterprise, and other key sectors.

Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Development: Respond to inbound leads via email, phone and web.
2. Conduct discovery sessions to understand client needs, scope projects, and prepare estimates.
3. Prepare compelling proposals and submit tenders and RFQs.
4. Maintain strong conversion rates and exceed sales targets.
5. Account Expansion: Grow and deepen relationships with key accounts.
6. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that drive value for clients.
7. Drive increased client lifetime value through ongoing engagement.
8. Leadership & Meetings: Lead internal project handovers and client kickoffs.
9. Manage and support your Sales Assistant through coaching and performance reviews.
* Reporting: Report weekly on deal progress, revenue performance, and sales opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
* 3+ years experience selling creative and communications services to enterprise and/or government.
* Demonstrated success responding to RFQs and submitting tenders.
* Proven track record growing key accounts and consistently achieving targets.
* Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Working Conditions
* The role requires working according to AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
* The position is remote-friendly, ideally based in Melbourne or Sydney (Melbourne team averages 1 in-office day per week).
* Travel may be required for interstate meetings and an annual team trip to the Philippines, depending on your location.
Salary & Commission
* Salary Package: $110,000 to 200,000 + super
* Tiered, Uncapped Commission Structure: Earn between 4% and 6.5% commission on all sales you generate. The more you sell, the higher your rate. You're rewarded from the very first deal you close, and there's no ceiling on your earning potential.
