We're looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to facilitate kitchen operations at Cooinda Aged Care in Gympie.

What You'll Do
Step into a skilled role where your creativity and expertise shape every plate.
You'll run a kitchen that doesn't just serve meals—it creates experiences that bring comfort and joy to our residents.
Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
Manage kitchen finances, including menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
Evaluate and improve catering services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a creative individual who combines culinary expertise with a passion for people.
You'll need:
A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
A valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
