Monday to Friday Roster.Exp in busy Pharmacy Essential.Gateway to both Coastal and Outback Experiences.Location Information: Retail community pharmacy located in Rockhampton, QLD, approximately a 3-hour drive from Bundaberg.Dates and Hours: Thursday 22nd May to Friday 20th June 2025.
Monday to Friday Roster only.Hours: Mon,Tues.Wed and Friday 8am to 6pm, Thursday 8am to 6.30 pm.
Job Specification: As a locum pharmacist, you will be working alongside 2-3 other pharmacists, 1-2 dispense technicians, 1 intern pharmacist, and 3-4 pharmacy assistants.
Duties will include professional services,Nursing home medication supply and Hospital discharge medication supply.
The pharmacy dispenses approximately 400-600 scripts a day using a CONSIS dispensing robot.
On weekends, there is a single pharmacist with a technician, and the workload is significantly reduced.Experience Required:* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience with FRED/Fred Plus preferred but not essential.
* Exp with DD Book preferred.
* Ability to work in a busy pharmacy (essential).
* Vaccination preferred but not essential.
Salary and Benefits:* Weekdays: $75/hr + Super.
* Weekends: $80/hr + Super.
* Travel and Accommodation Provided.Travel; Mileage $0.99 per klm or flights Accommodation is at Rockhampton Serviced Apartments (128 Denham St), subject to availability, or if locum wishes to book their own accommodation then an allowance of up to $170 per night will be reimbursed).
Taxi/Uber receipts between the pharmacy and accommodation will also be reimbursed if locum does not have own car.
