Overview
PositionProfile: We're offering Registered Nurses employed with WA Country Health Service in rural and remote locations, opportunities for supported postgraduate studies in midwifery. As part of this, you will work in your region while studying and upskilling to care for expectant women and newborns.
Responsibilities
As part of this, we'll support you through a paid working model, flexible work arrangements, scholarship opportunities towards course fees, access to clinical support and travel to the metropolitan area for study weeks. As part of this, we're partnering with universities across Western Australia to provide you with an 18-month program of study. While travel to campus is limited, we'll support you to get there. Intakes commencing Feb 2026.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

* WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
