About the Position
The Financial Accounting department has an exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity to join a supportive and dedicated team. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this position will assist in a wide range of functions including the preparation of financial statements and relevant taxation returns. The incumbent will be required to manage their priorities and task scheduling with minimal direction.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary degree qualification.
* Work experience and membership or currently studying for membership of a recognised Australian accounting body.
* High level numeracy and reconciliation skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures.
* Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
* The ability to problem‐solve, initiate solutions, set priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Salary Details
The salary for the position commences at $83,210.75 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
