The Role
As Arklife's Project Director, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of new BTR projects — from early concept and feasibility through design, approvals, construction, and handover to operations. You'll ensure each project reflects the Arklife vision: thoughtful, people-centred, high-performing, and commercially sound. You'll work closely with our internal teams, consultants, architects, builders, and partners to ensure every Arklife community is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and drive the full development lifecycle.
* Lead feasibility studies, financial modelling, and scenario testing.
* Coordinate design development, ensuring alignment with Arklife's brand, sustainability goals, and operational requirements.
* Manage development applications, planning approvals, and regulatory processes.
* Procure and oversee consultants, contractors, and external partners.
* Monitor project budgets, cashflows, timelines, and risk profiles.
* Ensure seamless handover to the operations and community teams ahead of opening.
* Champion innovation, efficiency, and customer‐centric thinking throughout the development process.
About You
* 7+ years of experience in property development, construction, project management, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of design, planning, and delivery processes.
* Experience running feasibilities and managing commercial outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with consultants, authorities, and contractors.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
