Job Description
As a seasoned Human Resources Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Retail team in Asia Pacific. Your role will involve leading a diverse retail P&C team while embodying the unique Lululemon value and culture.
A Day in the Life
* Manage P&C priorities and deliverables to the Retail organisation, working closely with Senior Managers and Area Directors.
* Develop and implement hiring, development, and engagement strategies to lead high-performing P&C Retail teams.
* Utilize business acumen to identify issues, diagnose root causes, provide insights, offer recommendations, and develop proactive solutions to solve pressing business objectives through a talent lens.
* Provide critical insights and feedback to in-market Center of Excellence (CoEs) and Retail Leaders, serving as the voice of the business and P&C.
* Act as the key business and P&C intermediary, translating business strategy to inform P&C and P&C strategy to inform the business.
* Partner with Health and Wealth teams to manage total rewards cycles, including annual merit reviews, bonus programs, promotions, and out-of-cycle requests for the Retail business.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all people movements are accurately processed as planned.
* Influence and coach Retail leaders on key P&C and business issues, attracting, selecting, developing, managing, and retaining top talent.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, practices, and relevant employment legislation.
* Investigate violations of company standards and policies, leading and conducting investigations as required.
* Coach Retail Managers on performance improvement plans and make recommendations for action.
* Manage Employee Listening processes, monitor employee engagement, and provide advice and recommendations on action plans to build strengths and address areas of opportunity.
* Deliver annual people programs, including Pace, bi-annual compensation reviews, promotion exercises, and bonus programs.
* Validate and confirm that all P&C administrative forms/systems are correctly completed by managers with appropriate approvals.
* Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and complete timely Workday people transactions and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology) Degree is essential. 8+ years of experience as a manager in full-spectrum human resources capacity is required.
Well-versed in local employment law, possessing strong business acumen, understanding business drivers, and creating opportunities to connect with the business directly.
Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative data for informed decision-making, coaching, and developing team capabilities, trusted partner with skills to support leaders to lead from clarity.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, program execution, and change management skills are necessary.
Consulting and collaboration skills, skilled at consulting with various partner types and navigating uncharted territory.
Employment law knowledge and ability to apply it to different situations are also essential.
