**The Role**:
Are you a highly motivated and experienced Communications Advisor, with a passion for delivering effective internal communications strategies?
We are seeking an experienced Communications Advisor, to assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of best-practice and evidence-based strategic internal communications plans and campaigns, to effectively inform, engage and connect the department's corporate staff. The successful canddiate will work a 36 hour week.
The role also actively participates in a broad range of communication tasks, events and activities to support the delivery of the division's work and the department's strategic priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in coordinating, developing and evaluating communication strategies and tactics, as well as in the delivery of staff events including the All Staff Forum
- Develops, writes and edits content for the department's internal channels
- Support the migration of organisation-wide content onto modern SharePoint
- Conduct research and support the development of communication plans and strategies
- Deliver campaign elements as set out in communication plans and strategies
- Provide post-campaign/project analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback, and incorporate learning into future marketing plans
**About You**:
- Knowledge of marketing, communications and public relations theory and practic
- Experience developing and curating content
- Experience in using online platforms (MailChimp, SharePoint)
- Constructively deals with stakeholder issues
- Takes concrete steps to add value for the stakeholder
- Actively seeks to understand the priorities and interests of various groups and key individuals
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- A degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a communications role, ideally within government or a related sector
