Mandatory Requirements
· Entitlement to work within Australia
· A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date
· Provision of valid Working with Children Check
· Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
· Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLTSS00030 or equivalent).
· Demonstrated knowledge of reprocessing functions within a CSSD.
· Experience with perioperative instrumentation in a Victorian hospital.
· Greater than 4 years' experience in a sterilisation unit
· Sound understanding of sterilisation and infection prevention principles.
· Ability to follow detailed procedures with high attention to accuracy.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Problem-solving skills and capacity to identify and report issues proactively.
· Ability to work safely under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
· Administrative level experience with management of instrument tracking systems, T Doc
DESIRABLE:
· Experience with electronic tracking systems (e.g., T-Doc, or equivalent).
· Knowledge of ISO 13485, AS/NZS 5369 compliance programs, and quality frameworks.
· Well established experience with Atherton, Medivator and Sterrad sterilisation systems.
