Code Four is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic event team based on the Gold Coast, QLD. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our diverse, globally dispersed team, contributing to global event brands such as Pacific Airshow, Crafted Beer Festival and others. This position requires a strong work ethic, dedication, and the ability to work flexible hours, travel, long days, including some nights and weekend as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Marketing Director with all aspects of marketing across global events
* Assist with creation of the overall event marketing strategy for events
* Management of all online content across the event’s marketing channels, including website, paid and organic social media and email marketing (Active Campaign)
* Copywriting as required
* Creation and scheduling of email marketing in line with the PR and marketing strategy
* Create, publish and monitor all social media advertising campaigns
* Oversee digital marketing budget, monitor performance and optimise spend
* Strategically plan digital marketing campaigns for growth of databases and social media followings for our events and business
* Create URL parameters and implement campaign tracking across multi-channel marketing campaigns
* Understand event demographic data, and create engaging content suitable for the key target audiences
* Assist the Marketing Director with developing and implementing external marketing and advertising campaigns
* Assist the design team by thoroughly briefing concepts and creation of artwork for all external branding such as signage, flyers and other promotional branding
* Prepare marketing reports for the management team, including data insights, marketing trends as well as recommendations and improvements for future campaigns
* Suggest new marketing trends and ideas for reaching and engaging new audiences
Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or relevant experience
* At least 2 years’ experience creating Meta Ad campaigns and Google Ads
* At least 2 years’ experience in copywriting and social media management
* Experience with an email marketing platform and website management
* Experience working on events
* Experience with URL parameters and campaign tracking
* A general understanding of Google Analytics for web traffic, demographic data and campaign tracking
* A creative mindset with superb written and verbal communication skills
* Experience understanding target audiences, knowing how to reach them and create engaging content
* Ability to work autonomously
* Excellent attention to detail
* A finger on the pulse with current social media and marketing trends
