**About the role**:
In this role you will provide essential frontline administrative support, playing a crucial role in ensuring the success of delivering high-quality care to women and their families accessing the service. Your contributions will help streamline operations, improve patient experiences and support the Healthcare Team's efforts to meet the unique needs of each family.
You will demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with women and their families. This involves effectively communicating information, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions they may have, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
You will be responsible for accurately recording patient information in administrative systems and maintaining attention to detail to ensure data integrity. Timely processing of paper-based medical records will also be a key part of your role, contributing to the efficient operation of the service.
This position is part of the Maternity and Gynaecology Service.

- Belmont Birthing Services based at Belmont Hospital is situated at the northern end of Lake Macquarie surrounded by picturesque views, coastal walking tracks, family friendly parks and lakeside picnic areas and award-winning restaurants and cafes.
