Responsibilities

* Manage the service delivery of examinations as performed for General X-ray (all admission types), Mobiles and Fluoroscopy.
* Establish clinical protocols, manuals, quality assurance and departmental continuous quality improvement activities.
* Develop focussed clinical service and leadership within the specialist modality and support staff through performance development and mentoring.
* Provide high level Radiography services to patients and clients.
* Experience within a tertiary referral hospital, development of clinical scan protocols and staff development is expected.

What you\'ll be doing


To provide high level Radiography services to patients and clients.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.


Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

* Current AHPRA registration to work as a Radiographer, with the MRPB of Australia and a valid EPA Radiation Licence.
* Establishment of clinical protocols, manuals, quality assurance and departmental Continuous Quality Improvement activities. Ability to perform complex clinical procedures within specialist modality with a high degree of competency.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
* Act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote a culture and supporting practices that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees (commensurate with years of experience).
