The Opportunity
RSB Travel Pty Ltd, a leading provider of transportation services, is seeking experienced and dedicated School Bus Drivers to join our team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school in 21 to 57 seat vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate school buses and transport students to and from school
* Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, as well as company safety policies
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
* Assist students with boarding and alighting the bus, and ensure their safety at all times
* Maintain accurate records of routes, times, and student attendance
* Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and the dispatch team
* Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
What We're Looking For
* Current and valid driver's LR to MR licence with a minimum of 6 months experience driving vehicles with 21 to 57 seats
* Demonstrated safe driving record and ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with students, parents, and school staff
* Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, which may include early morning and afternoon shifts
* Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and any other pre-employment screening required
