Package $178,647, includes a base salary of $158,152 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role
The Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will lead a team of analysts and report developers to deliver complex BI solutions and improve data‐driven capabilities across TAFE NSW. The role focuses on customer service, guiding and mentoring the analytics team and championing best practice across broader data teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of enterprise‐grade BI solutions that support strategic goals and enhance service delivery.
- Manage a team of analysts and report developers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Drive the progression of data capabilities from reporting to analysis and insights.
- Champion BI best practices across the organisation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business needs.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Detailed experience and broad expertise in BI design and development using Microsoft data and analysis suite and/or BI tools including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure Synapse.
- Experience progressing data capabilities from pure reporting to analysis and insights.
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and staying current in the field.
