The role
The Group Leader, Divestments manages teams to determine or finalise divestments; driving excellent customer service and service delivery in line with operational service standards, to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown land.
What you'll be doing
* Manage specialist teams that provide excellent customer service in determining or finalising divestments.
* Effectively lead specialist teams to achieve targets by planning and coordinating group resources to manage competing priorities and meet program targets in a high-volume work environment.
* Develop operational policy and procedures in response to shifts in government and departmental priorities, and design and implement projects to address business needs.
* Identify opportunities for continual service and process improvement, integrating and amending current processes to improve customer engagement, cost and resource effectiveness, and business systems improvements.
* Provide high level and specialist advice and support on complex Crown land issues that are across multiple concurrent projects.
* Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure team deliverables are met.

What you will bring to the role
* Thorough working knowledge and experience in the management and administration of land and property and good understanding of the business environment
* Good experience and skills in team and operational management.
* Good knowledge and understanding of the relevant Crown Lands legislation and acts relating to divestments.
* Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
* A collaborative mindset
* Exceptional attention to detail
Essential requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
