About the role
XW Engineering are looking for expressions of interest for Fitters, Boilermakers, and Experienced Trades Assistants to join a casual team for ongoing siteworks starting soon. This will be a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
1. Carry out maintenance, repair and installation tasks on a range of mining equipment and machinery
2. Assemble, install and maintain various mechanical components and structures
3. Assist tradespeople in completing tasks as required
4. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment
5. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
What we're looking for
1. Relevant trade qualifications in Fitting, Boilermaking or Mechanical Engineering
2. Trade qualifications are not required for Trades Assistant positions
3. Hands-on experience in a similar role.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Valid driver's licence and White Card
8. Valid work visa accepted for Australian work eligibility requirements
9. Must be able to pass a pre-employment & ongoing drug & alcohol screening.
