Your new role as a workshop Boilermaker involves carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to heavy machinery. This permanent residential position is based at a mine site in Kalgoorlie, where you will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor.

* You are responsible for fabricating and repairing structural steel and equipment components according to customers' and your company's specifications.
* Accurate reading and interpretation of schematics and specifications, as well as sourcing technical information through reference manuals and internal systems, are key skills required for this role.
* You must manage and advise on appropriate tooling fit for service, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* This dynamic team player must demonstrate a high commitment to working safety and effectively liaise with various clients on their requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Australian recognised Boilermaker or Fabrication Trade Certificate.
* Heavy-Rigid Licence.
* Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Arc welding techniques.
* Experience working on large mining machinery or heavy fabrication.
