We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our participants to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans that cater to their unique requirements.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide hands-on support to our participants with daily living tasks such as personal care, showering, medication management, and continence support. You will also assist with daily tasks like cleaning, meal preparation, and household chores, as well as supporting our participants in accessing the community safely and effectively.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will maintain accurate records of our participants' progress and engage with their wider care team to ensure their goals and needs are being met. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our participants, their families, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You', and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion.
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* Current Police Check (Within 12 months)
* A current driver's license and car insurance
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or relevant qualification) or currently undertaking study in this field.

Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications
* High School (Year 9-11)
* Disability or relevant industry: 1 year (preferred)
* First Aid Certification (preferred)
* Working with Children Check (preferred)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
* National Police Certificate (preferred)
* Driver Licence (preferred)
Please note that while a First Aid Certification is preferred, it is not essential. However, you must possess a current driver's license and car insurance, as well as a valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
