About This Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and organised Operations and Administration Officer to join our friendly team at the School of Dentistry. In this role, you will provide operations support to the functions and resourcing of the award-winning Oral Health Centre building and be a general administration all-rounder to the School.

Your support in this role will actively create a better environment for our staff and students, and you will be supported by our professional staff cohort to collectively make a difference.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Operations: Coordinating logistics involving people, materials, equipment, and resources and troubleshooting any issues.

* Building and Facilities: Coordinating space and resources to maximise efficiency and liaising with stakeholders regarding maintenance requests.

* Administration: Providing high level administrative support, being the point of contact for enquiries, providing support to committees and meetings, and supporting events and activities for the School.

About You

* Completion of a Bachelor degree in a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, experience and education/training.

* Demonstrated commitment to a high standard of customer service, and a willingness and ability to perform a wide range of operational tasks.

* Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to engage effectively, in writing and in person, with internal and external stakeholders.

* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

* Demonstrated high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

* Experience and demonstrated ability to manage small projects and budgets.

* Organised and methodical approach to tasks.

* Analytical skills sufficient to assess problems and propose appropriate solutions.

* Must be self-motivated and able to work constructively to objectives with limited guidance.

The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including the right to work in Australia.
