In the heart of Lewisham an "Outstanding" Secondary School is on the hunt for a Biology Teacher for a Jan/April start. This is a permanent, full-time contract. The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Biology Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Science Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.
The school is well invested in setting new teaching practices and training both new and existing staff. It is an exciting time at the school
Experienced Science Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator or pastoral responsibility. Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of experienced Science Teachers.

Person Specification
Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
Strong academics across the board – degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a "Good" or "Outstanding" level
Must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
