A Western NSW hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine for the period 01/06/2026 to 31/12/2026. The role involves monthly visits of three days per month, comprising two clinic days and one theatre day.
Travel and accommodation will be provided. The position is paid at sessional rates as per VMO determination.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive internal medicine care on three monthly visits (2 clinic, 1 theatre).
* Deliver inpatient, outpatient, and procedural services in a teaching environment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across emergency, maternity, paediatric, dialysis, oncology, and mental health units.
* Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents.
