Role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Educational Assistant to join the Malvern Campus on part time (Monday–Friday 8:15 am to 1:15 pm), 12‐month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive and collegial team effectively supporting the teaching and learning experiences in the classroom and contributing to our junior school community.
Key Duties
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other assistants in the development and implementation of a student‐centred learning programme
* Use strategies based on knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
* Maintain daily written documentation on relevant behaviour and learning as required
* Contribute to the Junior School community
* Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
* Motivated, enthusiastic and a self‐starter
* Excellent communication skills
* Hard working and professional
* Minimum Certificate III in Educational Support or equivalent (including students in their final year of a teaching degree)
* Experience supporting the differentiation of the curriculum within the Primary environment
* Hold a current employment Working With Children Check
