Food and Beverage Leadership Role
We are seeking an exceptional Food and Beverage Manager to lead our team in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire food and beverage department, including the restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events. This role offers an opportunity to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, gastronomic expertise, and talent for creating memorable moments for guests.
* Manage all operational aspects of the Food and Beverage Department, developing strategies to optimize guest experience and revenue growth opportunities.
* Guide and mentor the team to craft unforgettable moments for guests.
* Collaborate with the Head/Executive Chef to create menus, wine lists, and beverage offerings.
* Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, package development, recruitment, personnel management, inventory management, and ordering.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.
* Strong leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere.
* Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Flexibility to accommodate varied work schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Exceptional organizational skills with a knack for prioritization and a keen sense of urgency.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under high-pressure situations.
* Valid RSA or equivalent qualification.
