Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, this position is responsible for delivering the short-term development designs, level and regional evaluations/ designs. Weekly and rolling monthly scheduling and evaluation work to ensure critical path is highlighted and operations can succeed in meeting budget targets. This role will provide planners with rewarding challenges in a highly remnant mine. We are seeking proactive, critical thinkers with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
Strong communication and collaborative skills to enable robust plans by incorporating detailed engineering designs with geological, geotechnical, and operational risks.
Ideal Candidates will have:
* Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering
* Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
* Underground production and planning experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine.
* Significant experience in all planning processes, from long to short term.
* Experience in all aspects of mine design (development and production).
* Strong experience using Deswik suite software
* First Class Mine Manager's Ticket desirable but not essential.
