Personal Support Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on people's lives.
The role involves providing personal care and domestic support to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living such as showering, dressing, medication management, and social support duties like transportation to appointments and outings.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Valid Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
* Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services/ completed 1st year of a Nursing degree
* Satisfactory Australian National Police Check
* Current or willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certificate
* Ability to provide personal and domestic care with joy and kindness - Empathy is essential
* A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
* Excellent written and verbal skills as you will have to communicate with clients and our team
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* High level of time management and organisational ability
* Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities
