About the Role
">
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide technical expertise and people leadership skills on our HMIE Project. This key position will report to the Project Manager and be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

1. Estimate, resource, and deliver engineering effort required for technical solutions with consideration of quality, cost, and schedule.
">
2. Lead and oversee a team of engineering professionals, ensuring effective delivery of engineering services.
">
3. Cause innovation and implement best practices, fostering a high-performance culture.
">
4. Develop engineering tactical plans for execution of the technical aspects and formulate the technical approach of the work to be performed.
">
5. Identify and manage technical risk within the project and support the Project Manager in risk management reviews.
">
Requirements
">
The successful candidate will have:
">

6. Extensive ICT engineering or software engineering experience and a good understanding of ICT/Software system environments.
">
7. A relevant engineering tertiary degree and the ability to obtain Chartered Professional Engineer status.
">
8. The ability to provide effective leadership, direction, and motivation to teams.
">
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
">
10. Good problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the drive to improve current processes.
">
11. Defence industry experience will be highly regarded.
